A devoted father, entrepreneur, and community leader, Mandeep has lived in Ward 5 for most of his life and is proud to be raising his family here. Having seen the community grow and change over the years, he understands the priorities of local families, seniors, and small businesses.
Mandeep believes every neighbourhood deserves a councillor who truly understands the community they represent, is accessible to residents, and delivers real results while keeping costs affordable for families, including limiting property tax increases every year.
Through his work with the Ford government, he helped secure major provincial investments for Mississauga, including funding for new hospital infrastructure and essential services that support families and seniors. While the community has evolved, Ward 5 has not received the level of investment it deserves, and Mandeep is committed to changing that.
Mandeep has deep roots in Ward 5. He attended Ridgewood Public School, Lancaster Middle School, and both Morning Star Secondary School and Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School.
Outside of public service, Mandeep is an avid sports fan who enjoys hockey, basketball, baseball, and football. He lives in Ward 5 with his wife, Manpreet, and their two daughters.
